The C-80’s dual-diaphragm construction reduces the proximity effect, enabling natural vocal recordings even when the performer is close to the mic. It also features a low-cut filter for eliminating unwanted low-end noise and a pad switch for managing high sound levels, making it a versatile tool for home studio use.

Advanced Capsule Technology

The C-80 microphone uses a newly developed capsule inspired by the C-100, crafted for high sensitivity and clarity. Its dual-diaphragm structure, combined with an acoustic shifting circuit, optimizes sound quality from both the front and rear, ensuring a unidirectional response. High-precision materials like 24-karat gold-coated diaphragms and a zinc die-cast body provide superior anti-vibration properties and low distortion.

Anti-Vibration Design

To further enhance sound quality, the C-80 employs a shock damper with rubber-insulated metal pillars, following the anti-vibration structure of the C-800G, ensuring a stable and clear core sound even during movement or vibrations.
