The system features a 2-chassis design, with one housing the power supply, digital controller circuitry, software processing, and the LED display, while the other exclusively contains audio circuitry; notable elements include i2DCf for power supply voltage regulation, providing independent inductive DC filtering for each IC in the audio circuit's signal path (totaling 40 stages), gain offset adjustment of ±10dB for each line input, and fully configurable line inputs for "home theater ready" settings where the 850P's volume control is bypassed.
